“Man is a social animal”, and hence needs to develop social skills. Interpersonal intelligence is necessary for children in order to interact with the world. It helps the children to handle the situations during various scenarios. Emotional intelligence is a mandatory segment in everyone’s life. Children are not born with interpersonal intelligence, they gain that by observing their parents and surroundings. Children engaging themselves in community activities gain higher amount of the interpersonal skills than the children engaging themselves in individual play. Co-operative activities needs to be encouraged, which will help in developing bonds among fellow players. Talking to our children is the very important aspect in developing this skill. Verbal and non-verbal communication should be effective, so that there can be a knot between us and the little one. Interpersonal intelligence not only comforts our fellow participants but also takes us towards better leadership as well as social skills.
