1. Barbie Color Magic Doll

Released in 1966, Color Magic Barbie Doll is one of the most sought after and expensive vintage Barbie dolls. She had blue eyes and came in two different hair colors- golden blonde or midnight. Both versions included a solution to change their hair colors. Golden blonde hair changed to Scarlet Flame and Midnight hair changed to Ruby Red.

2. Twist N Turn Barbie Doll

The release of the Twist n Turn Barbie Doll, also called TNT by collectors, was the beginning of the Mod Barbie Era from 1967 to 1973. This Barbie had blue eyes, long rooted eyelashes, pink lips, long straight hair, bendable legs, and her waist could be twisted.

3. Talking Barbie Doll

The first talking Barbie released in 1968 could speak in English or Spanish. They spoke when a string was pulled at the back of her neck. She had rooted eyelashes, blue eyes, iconic ponytail and were available with blonde, red, brown, or brunette hair. She was first to feature individual, divided fingers.

4. Malibu Barbie

This Barbie was extremely popular throughout the 1970s as it represented a girl who loves the sun and the beach. She appears in a bronzed skin tone in an aqua blue bathing suit, carrying a yellow towel. She had beautiful long blonde hair with lavender sunglasses on top her head.

7. African American Barbie
